There are loads of face creams out there in the market. But we generally get a little confused about the perfect one for our skin type. We are often looking out for brands which are organic and free from harmful chemicals. Today, I’m talking about Plum Grape Seed & Sea Buckthorn Light Stay Day Cream which is paraben, phthalate free and is also 100% vegan! Let’s see if it is a hit or a miss.

Swatch: In the image below.
Variants: Plum has a number of variants. It has different day and night creams as well as lotions which caters different needs of our skin.
Packaging: The packaging is pretty simple and easy to use. It is a normal white colour squeeze tube with the logo and other details. It is a fuss-free packaging and is travel friendly.
Smell: The smell is really refreshing and a little bit on the strong side. But it isn’t really bothering, at least to me!
My Experience: Plum lightstay day cream is just like a regular cream for me. When I started using this cream, it was winter time and I really loved the results. It didn’t use to feel heavy but in summers, it did feel a little heavy on my skin.
Though it claims to be for combination skin, it didn’t work that well for me in summers, but dry skin people will love it. It does blend in really easily on the face and doesn’t give any whiteness or patches.
Also, the SPF 30 in this cream didn’t work for my skin personally. I usually get a little redness on my cheeks when I do not wear any sunscreen. I did notice some redness when I applied this cream alone. So, I wear a layer of sunscreen underneath this cream to prevent sun damage.
I do think this cream can be really loved by other girls with different skin type and textures as the cream itself is really good. But sadly it didn’t work for me. Also, it is free from parabens and phthalates and is 100% vegan.

Jhalli Diva Verdict: 3.5/5
Do I Recommend?
Yes, I do recommend this product to dry skin ladies rather than combination or normal skin type. It can work beautifully on some people’s skin but it didn’t give the desired results on my skin type.
Will I Repurchase?
Yes, I will repurchase this but in another variant as this variant didn’t work that great for me.
Overall Summary: I really like the quality of the product. The texture is non-greasy and it gets absorbed into the skin real quick. Personally, it didn’t work for me but it might work for you,so do give this product a thought!
