Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel – Review, Comparison
Let’s get started with the new Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel!

Product Name: Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel Kesar Chandan Review
Price & Quantity: Rs 50 for 60ml
Shelf Life: 18 months
Ingredients: In the image below.
Claims: Patanjali claims the new aloe vera gel to –
• Contain saffron aka kesar
• Contain sandalwood aka chandan
• Help in dryness and roughness of skin
• Remove pigmentation and dark spots
• Glowing, clear skin
• Instant solution to wrinkles and fairness skin
• Helps in controlling sunburn and sun tan
Packaging & Appearance: Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel with Kesar Chandan comes in a transparent tube with flip cap. You can see the remaining content from outside which is quite helpful.
The tube packaging is hygienic and travel friendly. It’s just 60 ml and mini in size. So you can carry it easily.
Coming to the appearance, it’s of golden color and similar to old aloe vera gel. The consistency is similar to gel and it’s less sticky.
Smell: The fragrance is similar to saffron (kesar) and it’s quite strong but the irony is that the kesar is present in 0.01% per 5g of the aloe vera gel.
The smell is artificial and bit strong but it doesn’t linger for long.
Swatch: In the image below.
My Experience: It’s the old aloe vera gel with addition of kesar and chandan. It’s less sticky and gets absorbed faster than the original.
Kesar and chandan is present in very less quantity which is almost negligible. Talking about claims, aloe vera gel can be used in numerous ways for beauty benefits. It acts as a good moisturizer to my skin which is combinational in nature. But it tends to be dry during winter.
Saundarya aloe vera gel doesn’t work well for dry and rough skin. Beauty Hack: But you can mix it with your regular moisturiser and apply. This makes it lasts longer.
Aloe vera gel works for pimples, lightening marks and helps to get clear, glowing skin on continual use. But at the same time, instant solution for wrinkles sounds tad over the top. Maybe prolonged usage can affect it but instant solution? Heck No.
Other than that, it’s regular aloe vera gel.

• Travel friendly
• Pocket friendly
• Didn’t cause breakout

Jhalli Diva Verdict: 4/5
Will I Repurchase? Not at the moment.
Do I Recommend? You can try the new aloe vera gel to find if it works better than original for you. For me, the original version is better.
Overall Summary: I like the new aloe vera gel by Patanjali. They have tried to cash on the success of original Patanjali aloe vera gel by bringing little variation here and there.
But I’ll still opt for the original one and prefer to add chandan and kesar to it rather than the new version.
