Hello ladies! I am very much into skin care these days. To me, skincare products hold immense importance. If some product does not work for me, I never hesitate to shelf it for a few days and return back to something that worked in the past. Well, this certainly is not the case with Patanjali Honey Orange Face Wash.
I was planning to get the Lemon Honey face wash from the same brand but that was out of stock. So, I bought this instead. I am using it regularly since I got it last month and it is working nicely. Want to know more about this face cleanser? Read on Patanjali Honey Orange Face Wash review.

Product Name: Patanjali Honey Orange Face Wash
Price & Quantity: It is priced at Rs.45 for 60gm.
Ingredients: See in the image below.
Shelf life: 18 months from the date of manufacturing.
Availability: This face wash is easily available in both online and offline. For online purchase you can checkout Amazon here.
If you want to buy offline, you should look in Patanjali stores, beauty supply stores or departmental stores.
Packaging & Appearance: The orange and honey based facial cleanser is housed inside a white plastic tube with a flip-open cap also made up of plastic. This kind of packaging is quite common among the Patanjali squeeze-tube products.
Though the packaging is very simple, it is travel-friendly, compact and leakage-proof. The front of the pack bears an orange-red coloured picture showing freshly cut oranges and honey-combs. The ingredients, user instructions and other details are mentioned in the back side of the pack.
The face wash is a gel-based one. It is basically a transparent orange gel with medium thickness. The density prevents wastage because we can easily control the quantity of product coming out of the pack.
Smell: It smells like freshly ripped orange peel. The fragrance does not feel artificial or overwhelming to me. The scent goes off after a few minutes of application.
Swatch: See in the image below.
My Experience: I wash my face with this Honey-Orange face wash twice a day; at morning and at night. I need slightly less than a coin size product for my face and neck.
Being a gel wash, it does not lather much. I am not a fan of heavy foam-producing facial cleansers. They make my very taut and uncomfortable.
This wash gets rid of the excess oil and dirt from my face and gives me the clear canvas to slather on my moisturizer and makeup. I am enjoying its tangy orangy aroma. It is able to cleanse very sheer base makeup and sunscreen.
I was not expecting a 45 bucks cleanser to do makeup removing, so no disappointment from my side. One thing for sure, it does not make my skin all dry and flaky.
It does not cause any new pimples or aggravated the existing ones. It simply did nothing to them but then it did not promise anything of that sort. Overall, it’s a nice face wash to try if your skin is not very sensitive and breakout-prone.
1. Cleanses skin without over-drying
2. Fresh orange smell
3. Did not cause breakouts to my skin
4. Suits all skin types in summer
1. Contains a highly toxic ingredient – methylisothiazolinone
2. Contains artificial colour and fragrance
Jhalli Diva Verdict: 4/5 (-1 for harmful chemical constituents)
Will I Repurchase?
Yes. I would like to buy another tube when I am done with experimenting with other variants of Patanjali face washes.
Do I Recommend?
Yes. I would certainly recommend it to everyone. Though it is designed for normal to oily skin, dry skinned people are likely to find it useful for the coming humid months.
Overall Summary: Patanjali Honey Orange Face Wash is a budget-friendly orange-fragranced gel face wash that removes dirt and grimes from the skin without ripping off skin’s moisture balance.
So, that’s all about Patanjali Honey-Orange Face Wash. Have you tried this? What is your favourite face wash?
