I’m always on a lookout for new Kajals. They are the most essential aka holy grail product , even if you’re not much of a makeup lover. Today’s post is all about Patanjali Herbal Kajal Review. So let’s talk about the herbal kajal and its claim of No Smudge, No Smear.
Patanjali Herbal Kajal Review
Product Name – Patanjali Herbal Kajal
Availability – It is available in retail stores as well as online. You can buy on Amazon here.
Price and Quantity – INR 90 for 3g
Shelf Life – 24 months
Swatch – In the image.
Ingredients – In the image.
All the ingredients of this Kajal, as the name suggests, are herbal and ayurvedic.
Claims and Usage – In the image.
Packaging – It comes in a simple cardboard container, which specifies all the details of the product.
The Kajal is packed in a transparent bullet case. It’s much like a regular lipstick packaging, with the idea of twist and apply.
The packaging is quite simple and nice.
My Experience – The first thing is that it’s pocket friendly. Just 90 bucks! As a college student it’s a great find for me.
The tip of the kajal is smooth and not much pointed, just right precision. But upon the regular usage, the tip becomes blunt and way too thick. 🙁
The texture of the kajal is good and upon application I found it glides semi smoothly. I applied a fine thin line and it stayed for about 3 to 4 hours without any smudging.
The staying power of the kajal is good until you apply huge amount. You’ll end up smudging if you apply a thick line. But it’s easy to rectify your mistakes as this herbal kajal can be wiped and cleaned easily.
Other thing which I like is the color it provides. It’s a good dark shade of black, thought not the blackest of black. The kajal is not at all sensitive, it imparts a cooling effect as it contains camphor.
√ Super Affordable
√ Travel Friendly
√ Long lasting for light application
√ Good staying power
√ Easily wipe and clean
√ Smudges easily
√ Not suitable for thick application
√ Tip becomes blunt with usage
√ Not suitable for oily skinned beauties
Jhalli Diva Verdict – 3.5/5
Summary – A great affordable kajal for regular use. Just a perfect thin line and you’re done. But not apt for heavy application and thick lines. It’ll give you panda eyes. :/
