My Experience: I saw many reviews before buying the Makeup Revolution Unicorns Unite Eyeshadow palette. I made sure that the swatches were good and all that! To be honest, I didn’t want to buy this eyeshadow palette as initially, my budget was under 500 bucks for a 10 shade palette. I know, 10 color eyeshadow palette under 500 is a joke but a girl can dream, right?!
I needed more vibrant colors to wear, bright and popping shades like pink, purple, blue, etc. This is when I noticed the Makeup Revolution Unicorn Unite palette. It has 12 shimmer and 6 matte shades. It is also available in other variants.
Most of the shimmer shades are decently pigmented while one or two ain’t. But you can build them up, or better use a setting spray during application. The pigmentation comes off so beautiful!
Talking about the matte shades, they are powdery, slightly chalky and just not up to the mark. To be honest, I got the palette for the shimmers and they didn’t disappoint me. And did I mention, matte shades have loads of fall-out too. Totally disappointed with them as Makeup Revolution does much better job with matte than this.
Anyway, I love the color variety of the shimmers: Golden, Bronze, Green, Purple, Dark Blue, Silver! There is also a black with gold sparkles. Oh yes, the palette fell badly right before I had to take the pictures for the review. As a result, the black shimmer is broken, in the images. Also, if you are new around here, me dropping Palette & breaking them isn’t a new affair! #clumsy #jhalli
Apart from the matte, I like Makeup Revolution Unicorns Unite Eyeshadow palette. The mirror makes thing much more easy. There is also a two sided sponge brush, which ain’t of much use for me as I like to use my finger for the shimmer shades.
• Colour variety
• Shimmers are pigmented
• Inbuilt mirror
• Cruelty free
• Can be used to create multiple looks
• Matte shades ain’t good
• Slightly bulky
• Contains paraben
• Price is slightly higher
Jhalli Diva Verdict: 3.75/5
Will I Repurchase?
Nope! This will do for now. The shimmer shades will be pretty for winter as well as parties & other events.
Do I Recommend?
If you want colourful shimmers, then pick this palette. Else feel free to skip it. But I didn’t find anything close to it, at this price range.
Overall Summary: I love Makeup Revolution Unicorns Unite Salvation Palette minus the matte shades. The shimmers are popping and very much event appropriate, keeping in mind it’s the festival season. It’s affordable as compared to other Palettes. Overall, I like the Unicorn Unite palette.
