We all love that feeling of having silky and lustrous hair. But with our hectic lifestyle, it is very difficult to take care of our hair. I mostly rely on serums or leave-in conditioners to maintain my texture on a regular basis. I have been using this leave-in conditioner from Kerastase from a long time now and I had a lot of mixed thoughts about this one. So keep reading to know how I feel about Kerastase Elixir Ultime Oil Cream!

My Experience: I have been using this cream for a long time now. It has a very nice fragrance and the texture is very light weight and just melts into the hair without being greasy. But it does leave me with some shimmer particles on my hand for some reason.

I never noticed any shimmer on my hair because it is very fine but my hands do shine like I applied some highlighter onto them. You can see it in the image above.

When it comes to the performance of this I would say it’s amazing. It makes my hair silky and soft as it claims and also leaves them tangle-free.

Kerastase Elixir Ultime Oil Cream

When it comes to my hair type, I have very silky, soft and thin hair already. Whenever I wash my hair, they become super silky and it does get difficult to manage them.

Applying this cream on top of it does no good as they become unmanageable. Also, it gets hard for me to style them as any hairstyle won’t stay put.

So what I’m trying to say is that this cream is amazing but only if you have rough or dry hair but my hair is nothing like that so it didn’t really work for me.

1. Makes hair soft and silky
2. Travel Friendly
3. Nice fragrance
4. Makes hair tangle free
5. Lightweight texture
6. Doesn’t make hair oily

1. Not easily available

Jhalli Diva Verdict: 4/5

Will I Repurchase?

No, because this cream doesn’t really serve my hair concerns and since my hair is already silky I don’t think I need to purchase it. I’d rather consider purchasing some other products from Kerastase.

Do I Recommend?

Yes, absolutely! If you have dry and damaged hair it will definitely change your hair texture. It will make your rough hair smooth and soft and leave them looking very silky and lustrous.

Overall Summary: I love this Kerastase Elixir Ultime Oil Cream, although it is not meant for my hair type but I can say that it does make my hair silkier and smoother.

I definitely see this working for people with rough hair whose hair is unmanageable and get tangled easily.

It will make your hair amazing without any oiliness or greasiness and doesn’t weigh your hair down at all nor will it lead to any product buildup.
