Hello people! How are you doing? Today I am back with another skincare review. The product is Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Fruit Pack. I have already reviewed Patanjali Multani Mitti Face Pack which is one of my best face packs. Basically, I am oily skinned but in the harsh winter, my skin becomes dry and moisture thirsty. So, let’s get started with Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Fruit Pack Review.
Only clay mask and moisturizer do not feel enough. That is why I decided to go for a face pack that is designed for normal to dry skin. This particular mask fits the criteria nicely and Himalaya Herbals products had never let me down earlier.
Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Fruit Pack Review
So, last winter I got this papaya and apple enriched face pack. I used it for the entire winter and using it alongside some Patanjali and DIY homemade glowing skin face pack. If you want to know how this Refreshing Fruit Pack worked for my oily skin in winter, read on.
Product Name: Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Fruit Pack for Normal to Dry Skin
Price & Quantity: It used to come at Rs.60 for 50gm but now after price hike it costs Rs.70 for the same amount of product
Ingredients:: See in the image below.
Shelf life: 36 months from the date of packaging
Availability: This face mask is available in two sizes; 50gm and100gm. Most of the beauty stores and departmental stores keep this. It can be found online too.
Packaging & Appearance: This face pack comes in a white plastic tube which has a green translucent flip open cap. In the front side of the tube, you will see a beautiful label graphics depicting the main ingredient of this face pack papaya in muted pink color.
Most of the Himalaya Herbals products have this kind of white tube-green cap packaging. Overall the packaging is very simple, sturdy and travel-friendly.
The face pack is light yellow in colour. Although it is a mud based face pack, it is quite creamy in texture. Consistency is smooth and not at all dry. It spreads easily on the skin and forms even layer.
Smell: The product has a mild herbal scent with a fruity accent to it.
Swatch: See in the image below.
My Experience: I use it alternately with Patanjali’s Multani Mitti Face Pack that I have already reviewed. I apply it about 2-3 hrs after exfoliating as I like to give my delicate facial skin some to me to calm after vigorous scrubbing.
First I wet my face and then apply an even layer of pack leaving eye and lip area. I usually keep it in my face for 15 minutes. After that, I splash some water and gently clean my face.
For the first few minutes after application, I feel a tingling sensation in the sensitive areas of my face but this sensation fades once the pack starts to dry. Within 13 to 15 minutes of application, it dries evenly.
I like it very much because most of the clay packs dry unevenly on my face. The oily zones remain wet while dry zones become super dry.
This product gives my face a healthy glow. It brightens up my dull and tired skin. Effects of this pack stay for 2-3 days. Although it does not claim to remove tan, I have seen a notable reduction of my facial tanning.
1. Nourishing formula
2. Texture is smooth and easy to apply
3. Gives a sheer glow to my skin
4. Reduces tans
5. Pocket friendly
1. Contains parabens as preservative
2. Full ingredient list is not mentioned
Jhalli Diva Verdict: 4.75/5
Will I Repurchase? Yes. I would repurchase this pack next winter or when the skin lacks moisture.
Do I Recommend? Yes. I would recommend this face pack especially to people who have normal to dry skin. This is a nice face pack for oily skin in winter when the skin’s behavior is similar to dry skin.
Overall Summary: Both quality wise and quantity wise this face pack is a winner. It replenishes the moisture level of my face in this harsh coldness of winter and gives a nice glow.
So, that’s all about Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Fruit Pack. Have you tried this? What is your favorite face pack?
Until next time,
