You can use other brands too, but I mentioned Himalaya Herbals products as they are pocket friendly and works well. Find step-by-step face cleanup method below:

Step 1. Cleanse: Start your cleanup treatment by washing your face and neck with Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash, it will ensure that the excess dirt and oil is removed from the skin surface. Pat dry your face and neck with face towel or tissue paper.

Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash is available for Rs. 65 for 50ml.Its key ingredients are: Neem and Turmeric.
Other than the cleanup, cleansing twice a day is important to keep your face clean.

Step 2. Steam: Time to turn on the steamer! Pour enough water in the steam machine and then cover your head with any cloth piece. A steamer you’ll probably love, find it here.

Take in the steam for about 10-15mins. It will open up your pores and remove the dirt from inside the skin. Stay at least 20-25cm away from the steam machine, otherwise it will be really hot on skin and uncomfortable.

Step 3.Clear: Now that you have opened up your pores with steam, take a blackhead remover tool and pull out the blackheads and whiteheads from different parts of the face.

Now dip a cotton ball in water and wipe off the dead skin cells, whiteheads and blackheads from the skin surface. This step will ensure that you clean up the dirt from inside the pores.

  1. Loved reading this cleanup routine. I regularly do cleanups at home once a week as I feel I can use my choice of products rather than going to salons where they use some unknown brands…

  2. This is definitely quite very helpful…
I have used Himalaya products earlier,, but never as home facial…
This option of taking steam will be great..
I am definitely going to try this out…

Thanks for this detailed review… 🙂
