Moisturizing our skin on a daily basis is one important task. You should have a perfect moisturizer for every season, so that your skin never suffers. I always make sure to have the perfect moisturizer for my skin because if I have a moisturizer that doesn’t work well, my skin won’t feel healthy and supple. I stumbled upon the Biotique Morning Nectar Flawless Skin Moisturizer. Read on to Biotique Morning Nectar Flawless Skin lotion review to know how it performed for me!
Product Name: Biotique Morning Nectar Visibly Flawless Skin Lotion
Price & Quantity: INR 199 for 120 ml
Shelf Life: 3 years from mfg.
Availability: It is available both online and offline. Buy here.
Ingredients: In the image below.
Packaging & Appearance: It is a simple white cylindrical bottle with a green cap. It is a squeezy kind of bottle and the product comes out from the piercing on the top. It is a bit difficult to control the amount of the product at times as sometimes the cream just blurts out on squeezing the bottle.
It also comes in a carton which has all the details of the product as well. It’s a bit on the bulkier side so it is not travel friendly.

Variants: There are no variants as such but there is a whole range of Morning Nectar which includes face wash, serum and a sunscreen as well. Apart from this, Biotique also offers many other moisturizers as well.
Texture: The texture of this cream is neither very light nor very thick. It is somewhere in between. It does melt into the skin very nicely though.
Finish: The finish of this cream on my skin looks a bit greasy sometimes, although I have combination skin but it isn’t very oily. When I tried this in winters for the first time, I really liked it.

But in summers, it didn’t work for me because it gave me an oily look and felt heavy on my skin.
Smell: The smell of this product is amazing. It is so refreshing and nice that it makes me gonna go on a vacation and never come back!

My Experience: I have mixed kind of feelings for this lotion. First of all it says suitable for all skin types, which is not at all true. The greasiness it gave on my combination skin was too much. So I cannot imagine how it will work on an oily skin type. Definitely, it is for normal to dry skin type.
When I used this moisturizer in winters, it worked absolutely well but in summers, not so much.
As soon as I applied it, it felt heavy on my skin and my skin started sweating which rarely happens with me. When I tried it on the back of my hand the texture felt good and lightweight. Although that wasn’t the case when I applied it on my face.
One thing that I liked about this Biotique skin lotion is its fragrance. It’s legit so refreshing and soothing to me. But other than that I have now kept the moisturizer aside and I am waiting for winters to come so that I can use this moisturizer again.
Other than that I feel that if you have dry skin you might need to reapply the moisturize your skin but as per my combination skin I do not feel the need for reapplication as my skin looks oily even after hours. The claims that this moisturizer makes are not absolutely true as my skin doesn’t feel light at all after applying this and neither does this brightens my skin but it does reduce the appearance of fine lines as I have noticed, so that is a good thing.
Pros:
1. Smells refreshing
2. Blends into the skin nicely
3. Texture is not too thick or thin
Cons:
1. Not travel friendly
2. Sometimes looks greasy on the skin
3. Not for all skin types as per the claims
4. Incomplete ingredient list, as always
Jhalli Diva Verdict: 3/5
Will I Repurchase?
Not really, I think. Because I can get better moisturizer at this price. Although it isn’t that bad because it moisturizes my skin well but the only problem is that it feels a bit heavy and makes me look greasy. So I won’t be purchasing it again.
Do I Recommend?
Yes, I do recommend. It might suit you if you have a dry skin type. So it really depends on skin to skin. Because it feels lightweight when you first spread it on your palms but not on the face. So make sure to try it on your face before purchasing if you can.
Overall Summary: I would say it is a pretty decent moisturizer and you can give it a try if you are looking for any moisturiser. If you’re a person with an oily skin type , try to avoid using it. As per its fragrance, it’s amazing and the packaging is nice as well but a bit bulky. So I would suggest you to weigh all the pros and cons according to your preferences and skin type before you purchase it!
