Hey! Hope you all are doing well. Today I am going to share my experience with the Patanjali Multani Mitti face pack review. I bought this pack from a nearby Patanjali store 4-5 months ago. My previous face pack was very effective but I got redness and stinging sensations in the sensitive areas of my face.
That is why I shifted to this one. In this cold weather, I was searching for a good clay based pack which can control my excess sebum secretion and shrink my zits without ripping off my skin’s natural moisture.
This has been able to secure a place in the list of my favourite face packs. To know why please read on.
Patanjali Multani Mitti Face Pack Review & How To Use
Product Name: Patanjali Multani Mitti Face Pack with Mineral Clay and Aloe vera
Price & Quantity: It is priced at Rs.60 for 60 ml
Ingredients: See in the image below.
Shelf Life: 18 months from the date of packaging
Availability: This face pack is easily available in all Patanjali stores and even in leading grocery stores. As I have a Patanjali store nearby I always go there to buy their stuff but I have seen it in online stores too.
Packaging & Appearance: The product is packaged in a white coloured tube with a plastic flip-top cap. On the front side of the packaging, there is a label graphics showing an aloe vera plant and a chunk of fuller’s earth.
On the back side, there is full ingredient list and many useful information (including shelf life and method of use) mentioned in saffron colour. The packaging is sturdy, fuss-free and leak-proof. Considering the price Patanjali has done a great job at packaging.
The colour of the product is muddy brown. Consistency wise it is a thick face pack but the water content (rather aloe vera content) is just perfect to give it a spreadable density. I feel there is no need to add extra water to lessen the thickness.
Popular Patanjali Posts:
Smell: Due to the added sugandhit dravya (fragrance), this pack has a rosy smell. The smell is mild and not at all overpowering.
This pack leaves a mild residue of its fragrance that stays quite long but never caused me any a headache (I am not at all a rose fragrance lover to be precise.)
Swatch: See in the image below.
How To Use? I apply this pack on my face and neck leaving the eye area bare and let it dry for 15 minutes.
In the last part, I wet my face by patting with damp hands. Then I take more water in my hands and massage my face in circular motion. Finally, I wash off my face with plain water.
My Experience: I use this pack 2-3 times a week depending on the weather and the condition of my face. I use it on the day I exfoliate my face. I leave 4-5 hours gap between exfoliation and application of face masks.
If I apply face pack immediately after scrubbing I get irritations in the sensitive areas of my face.
After patting my skin dry I apply some aloe vera gel or moisturiser according to my skin’s needs. I find this face pack quite similar to Lotus Herbals clay masks consistency and texture wise.
This face pack removes excess sebum from my skin and cleanses really well. My face remains oil free for at least 4-5 hours. It does not irritate the sensitive nose area like my previous face mask.
Moreover, it is a clay based face mask that contains two types of clay –
• Fuller’s earth or multani mitti
• Mineral clay or gairika
The goodness of these ingredients has added some extra plus points; that is why this face pack has been able to enlist its name on my good book. Except for the fact that it contains parabens I could find no other con.
1. Works well for my oily-combination skin
2. Shrinks zits and controls sebum secretion
3. Pocket friendly
4. Enriched with aloe vera, mineral clay and fuller’s earth
1. Contains 2 different paraben as preservatives
Jhalli Diva Verdict: 4.5/5 (-0.5 for paraben)
Will I Repurchase? A big YES. I am on the verge of finishing my first tube. I will buy another when I go to the Patanjali store next time.
Do I Recommend? Certainly. I have already recommended it to a friend and she says it is working for her too.
Overall Summary: This face pack is working wonders for my combination acne-prone skin without sensitising my delicate facial skin.
It reduces acne breakouts from the first use which was the main reason for buying this product. My heartiest thanks go to the brand which gave birth to this amazing face pack. On the contrary, it contains paraben.
So, that’s all about Patanjali Multani Mitti Face Pack with Mineral Clay and Aloe vera. Have you tried this? What is your favourite face pack?
Until next time,
